Part of Larry's birthday present was a whale watching cruise. We took a boat from Circular Quay, out of the heads. First the boat headed north where there were about 5 whales in a couple of pods. Then we headed south, with a brief diversion out to sea to watch more. There was lots blows and swimming with a number of fluke up dives. There were a few lunges or sky dives in the distance.
